If I was a vendor that was owed money by P St. Health Center, I would Write a letter to the Sacramento City Council and go speak out against them at a council meeting. The city is still in the process of drafting the dispensary ordianance. If enough people let the council know of pst's crooked ways, they will most likely NOT allow them to operate once the rules are laid out. Jesse - the purported CEO is on record, on this site, admitting to stealing from vendors. what they are doing is indefensible, and the real power to close them down lies with the council. forget about picketing them. who ever is organizing the pickets, should organize a letter writing campaign. just my two cents

Beware vendors!! This club ripped me off! They begged me for my medicine because their selection is pathetic and I grew amazing marijuana. They signed a contract with me and promised to pay me. It's way past the date that I was owed and they are giving me the run around. Everytime I talk to the owner or coowner they have a new lie to tell me. First it was their taxes. Now they claim they can't pay until after they pay their rent. I have a mortgage to pay. I can't believe they have been so shady. I am putting together a class action lawsuit.

They have paid us less than 20% of what they owe and it has taken 5 months! In all the years we have been in business we have never come across crooks like this. Wretched.

The people who inhabit this place may treat you nicely if you have a nice rack. Otherwise, it is like dealing with your older brothers friends, who swear they are so cool but are willing to let a youngster give them money for schwag. If you recall Adam Sandler in Billy Madison, showing up at the high school in his Camaro and REO Speedwagon t-shirt, then you have met the guys at P Street.

Customer service on par with a guy who is giving you another favor on top of the favors you still haven't paid back. There are better meds and better people in this town; support them.

I was in there a few days ago and this place has the worst meds I've seen in a Sac dispensary. Save your $$$ and go somewhere else instead. The process they have in place for registration is absurd. I saw people going in the back without completely filling out the member rules. First of all, there was no guard and when I got in the back I was greeted with "What do you want?" and a sign that had prices all scribbled out and strains halfway erased. Anyone could go from the front door to the sales room without much effort. If safety, security, quality meds and customer service are what you're looking for, then look elsewhere.

I wish I would have read this before I had done business with them. This club treats their vendors as disposable. Putting us on negligent payment plans that conflict with our schedules as a way to procrastinate further payment. Spending our money to remodel so the customer is impressed, or giving it away to other vendors when we have an appointment set to pick up payment. They may treat their customers with respect, but we are the ones that make them their money and they neglect us as though we don't work hard putting them in a place to do business.

If you have been in there recently you would notice the lack of goods on the shelf, and I believe that it is because of how they have treated their vendors that this is the case. They are running out of vendors to take advantage of.

The "impressive job" of the high quality meds-news flash: It's not "their" quality, it is "our" the grower's, quality meds and you will see no more of my hard work on their shelf for one. Boycott!

They were all smiles when I had the chronic, now I can't get ahold of anybody to get paid! They act like they're doing me a favor by having any $ for me when I get there. It's been months and I've only collected a small portion and I've driven a combined 8 hrs just to get that! I would work something out if they would stop lying to me. Oh, and who is this CEO guy? After reading the response from PST regarding the latest post, it's clear that they still don't get it. It's funny how the response tried to place the burden of not being paid on the vendors. Let's state the facts. PST Health Center has/is ripping off area vendors. To now deflect from the real issue at hand with some paying taxes diatribe is completely off point. You guys need to man up and pay your vendors. This is not the old days and if you want to consider your self a legit businessman or even a "CEO", do business like the rest of us do; with respect for the other person. To blame the vendors for being ripped off is arrogant and definitely criminal. Let me ask this, is rippping vendors off for their hard earned work part of the movement? I didnt think so. Peace.

I am the C.E.O. of P Street Health Center in Sacramento and I wanted to utilize this space to clarify a few things. We will no longer be seeing vendors. We are a Co-Op. That means the corporation is owned by the growers, growers that have no problem paying taxes. Marijuana growers have been sheltered from the tax man since the first gram was sold out of a dispensary. In order to cooperate with state law we will not be takeing vendors off the street who don't want to share the burdon of paying taxes like every other warm blooded citizen.

As far as I know everyone has either been paid or is on some sort of scheduled payment they are agreeable to. If anyone has not been contacted or paid I advise you to contact myself or michael (he is our new manager) for payment. I have been a grower, and it's not easy. Neither is running a corporation where people rely on you to make all the right decisions and lead the way.

We had some of our cannabis confiscated during transportation and we have been playing catch up with our vendors ever since. I can't disclose the amount, but it was a significant amount. Businesses are not supposed to have to worry about these kinds of problems. Safeway doesn't get their food confiscated for trafficking oranges.

There are those that are willing to bleed to make this movement happen, and those that just want to break a proffit. It's the ones that are willing to bleed with us that will be on our team.

P.S. Vendors be expecting a 1099 form this year.

Once I got there I was greeted by a unshaved glossy eyed drunk. I couldn't belive they had someone managing the doors or even working at such a nice professional place period. I could smell the liquor coming very strong off of this kids breath which was very unpleasent not to mention it was 1 o'clock in the afternoon. I hate to have to even write this but hopefully the boss will read this and take it into consideration.

Other than the drunk door man everyone else was very nice and professional from the good looking young lady that took and verified me to the gentalmen in the dispensery that gave me more than fair prices on thier wide excellent variety of edibales and strains. They had a lot of indoor high quality herb. It was the most professional building I had ever been too. And the art was absolutley amazing to say the least.

We were both aware of the laws and regulations of the state of california, and, being from out of state, assumed we would not be allowed to enter much farther than the front door. But I have this to say:
I did not appreciate walking into a place where the people who work there are chonged out of their minds and had no information to offer us.

They simply stared at us blankly with red, puffy eyes and had bad attitudes. It would have been nice if I were able to ask a few questions and have them answered, like how to go about obtaining the legal documents allowing me to purchase their products. We're already suffering enough criticism from those who believe marijuana is nothing but a "gateway drug" and a way for young punks to rebel against their parents, we don't need some rude stoners, excuse me, P STREET HEALTH CENTER EMPLOYEES, giving us a bad rep. This may not be the proper place to post this, but I got something to say. We started this Cannabis club about 11 months ago. We had no working capital, just an Idea and enough money to rent the spot. Since then, we have worked seven days a week, sometimes late into the night. We have had the pleasure of dealing with some of the nicest people in the industry. We also have had the displeasure of dealing with some of the worst.

We have put together a great staff and have since moved to a bigger and better location. Every one of us has given up our possible careers in an effort to make this work.

I will be diplomatic and not condemn those who thwart our efforts or do not understand what we are trying to do here. Not to sound righteous, but I am confident what we are doing is a good thing and will continue to do so as long as possible.

As far as compassion goes, we do our compassion on a case by case basis. I have seen people pull up in Lexuses wearing gold chains claiming they need compassion. I am not sure how other clubs run their compassion program. I trust most of them are doing the right thing, but we are not capable of financing a huge program and must reserve our compassion for the sick and dying. Nothing I can say to the healthy person, trying to push their way ahead in line of the terminally ill, will make them see the light.
My point is we will continue to do our compassion the way we are doing, until we figure out a better method.

Thank You,
God Bless

I live 2 blocks away but will not return. Disappointed. Really bad herb. Looked like some nasty outdoor. Their hash was good but didn't make up for the fact that the flower was a mess. Young staff. Probably couldn't spell compassion if they tried. Typical of places opening up in Sacramento. More interested in distributing herb than helping sick people. There are better places on the grid. And even better places off.

Wow these guys really have the nicest spot in town. With a seperate vendor entrance, a disabled entrance, beautiful waitng and reception area, the prices and the meds are pretty much the best in town, the pre-rolls are great, and their Sour Diesel is so tasty. You need to see the new spot!

If a club sells outdoor meds, it should not cost the same as indoor and it should not be wet, there are too many good clubs to waste your time here.

The most reasonable prices in the area, hands down. Super nice people. They have always answered all my questions. Even if the person I'm speaking with doesn't know, he finds someone who does, I respect that. Only bought 1 bud that was disappointing out of the multiple times I've been there. Edibles for $5 where as other places charge $8.

I have been to every club from Sacramento to the bay and E st. is by far my favorite club. They have theee best medicine and selection..and there has never been a time that I have left disappointed. The staff is great, making sure they keep their customers happy. The art on the walls is great also, but this really is the only club to go to!!

This place sucks!!! All the men that work there hit on me everytime I step foot through the door. They are pigs! Also, they have a bad selection of medicine and I would rather smoke hay.

Im putting it out there its 4/24/09 two months ago, my friend loaned this place money. Well when the dude wanted to to get his money back, they basicly told him to kick rocks. All those guys are punks down at e st. Ripping off medical marajuana patents is a crime! I was forced to give this place a 1 star rating.

The guys are nice, but the meds are literally the worst I have had anywhere. They are new and need to connect with some good vendors. I bought a batch of white widow that I only smoked 2 bowls of. Not even a head change. Hopefully they will learn the ropes and get real medicine.

Did the wall murals in the main entrance room and didn't get a chance to finish before I'm being wisked out with $40 in trade. Painter, artists people who are creative and compassionate please consider another source. I am not a tapdancer or mime, but as an artist in the activist community, I've never been treated this bad from an establishment before.

The staff was nice, however the medicine is terrible. I paid $50 bucks for absolutley bunk weed that they were calling white widow... one of the strongest strains available and not even a head change from 3 bong rips. Hopefully they will get better. Either way Im out $50 bucks and was sold useless medicine.

Two indoor strains available so not much to choose from though both were good. Good price on hash but only 1 type available. I hate getting my medicine in sandwich bags. If this club improves the menu and packaging, it can be a 4-5 star place.
