Usually has exceptional product but has an older, male staff member who is impolite, uncouth, who leaves food containers in the dispensary and may have hygiene issues. He does not check ID or 420 Cards and customers must exit on their own which could allow others to come into the dispensary from lack of staff in front area. He will try to overcharge or sell dated product. He makes no effort to provide the product in the quality requested. Must visit dispensary when other staff is available to get honest and courteous service.

I like going here. The staff is great. Have some good meds, and can offer some ok prices. Small variety of clones, ranging in age. They have stayed open late a few times to get me in and no other collective has.

The first time I went in here I dropped a lot of $$ on clones. I asked the guy to hooke up since I was spending a lot of $$ and he said there's a lot of people here who spend more $$ mine wasn't that special. So after this I was reluctant to go back. Then I did and bought some very nasty stuff that looked and smelled like hay, at a high price. I went back again to buy some clones and this dude sold me sick clones at a higher price, cause they were opening the other store in Stockton. I had to return a dead clone and told the guy the others he sold me were sick. He said oh you gotta dip em in neem oil. Ya no shot dude I don't think you guys did. When I came back, the big black dude got into face thinking he could intimidate me. I got right back in his face and told him how messed up his operation is and that he treats people like shit, and the last thing he should do is get in a disabled veterans face with PTSD that also has wrestled and trained jiu jitsu most of his life. Luckily he was smart enough to calm down, cause I would've shot a double leg slammed him down and choked him out.

Very clean facility with a nice selection of medicine. Staff was friendly especially the black guy and they made me feel welcomed and comfortable. I bought a gram and got a free rollie because I was a new patient. The product is solid. I will be back.

By far one of the best clubs I’ve been too. I drive 30 minutes every time just to go to them. They are friendly, clean and knowledgeable. I read other reviews and have seen that people think they are rude. They are far from it. If you’re friendly to them they are friendly back. I don't go to any other club because of the consistency; great buds, awesome edibles, great hours and with a large variety. What more do you need?

This place is very unfriendly, way to exspensive for the grades they sale mostly looks like shake. I have anxiety problems and the blk dude was so mean looking like he hates me, and he never met me before I was shaking in my boots when I left. the weed I bought gets you high feeling good for about 10 to 15 mins. then u have got to light up again. So unless your looking to come close to having a nervous breakdown stay clear of this place.

When I went here I spent 100 on my first visit and didn't even get a free gift. I picked up an eight and a selection of edibles. Gum lollipops and soda pops and the edibles were garbage. I can't believe they call that medicine. I don't know how west coast cannabis can say this is the best. They probably get paid to say that I doubt they've ever been there.

The guy that came to the door was unfriendly and the bud tender was attractive, but as soon as I asked to see the special she became unfriendly and wanted to rush me out of there. She showed me two bottles, one looked like all shake and one had a little bud in it and the rest shake. Boy was I wrong, that wasn't shake it was marijuana cuttings, leaf! The stuff growers normally sweep up and throw away or sell to friends for 10 bucks a QP. It gets you a little high the first time you smoke it during the day and only for about 10 mintues or so and then no more until the next day. I also asked her to recommend a gram of the most potent stuff they had, so she sold me a gram of purple nepal, also. It is pretty decent, but by no means should this be considered a high potent marijuana. High potent to me is where you have to take 2 hits, three hits max and you are good for a few hours. I still have not found a place that has that, but am still searching. Anyone know of one?

Bottom line on this club is, unfriendly staff that acts rude to you if you don't have more than $40 to spend, sub par marijuana at high prices, first timers like me that only spent $40 bucks got a free lighter and made to feel uncomfortable for only spending that much. I will never go back to this place! Don't be fooled by the ads they run to get you in the door. Seriously!

I have seen the staff have patience and kindness towards all customers. They have not been like other collectives that just rush you in and out. They talk about your day and how you are feeling. They have wonderful gentlemen working at all times, sometimes a young lady who is just sweeter than honey. I have been to places all over California, Horizion is one of the best, if not the best. The previous comments are not so great, how about you drive by and give them a shot yourself. I believe you will be suprised. They are wonderful people who simply enjoy life. Thank you for allowing me to comment on the subject.

I have been here twice. I don't like it. No easy feeling about this place, it gives bad vibes. They are unprofessional and can be rude. I took some good Sour Diesel in that was grown hydro and the guy said he doesn't even pay $2k a lb of 'good indoor'...like mine wasn't good, and reading that they offered someone else $800/lb proves they are all about profit. They seem like a big rip off and not there for the patient or medical aspect. They are there for proffit. The prices are too high, the quality too low.....avoid this place like the plague.

This place would be good if the owners weren't such stupid heads. They have the same 10 strains for months on end because it's so bammer. I tried to donate some bomb casey jones, just as good as their tops at the time, and he offers me 800 a pound!!!

I, as very many others in this industry, am continually fighting for professionalism. As a Horticulturist and a Ganja farmer for over 12 years, I am always looking to elevate my knowledge and wisdom in this developing field, in order to create the best possible medicine. For one reason or another, the owner of this dispensary is clearly unwilling to consciously move forward towards professionalism. At least in the sense of running a pest free and pathogenic mold free facility. We as patients and humans demand a higher standard, in all areas of life. There are 30+ Medical dispensaries in the Sacramento area, cast your vote in support to those who you feel run an acceptable, as well as professional, Medical Marijuana dispensary.

I have been to this club many times. Don't believe all the 5 star votes and don't believe any of the 1 star posts. The club does not have good high end, it is decent at best. What it does have is cheap deals on crap/acceptable bud. It will not be the club for the best bud and they have the exact same strains all the time. Honestly, if your looking for good grass go somewhere else, if you're poor like me and love cheap deals, then go there. They do have cheap 6$ cakes that are 8$ elsewhere entitled st00pid cakes.

The guy whom I suppose was the owner or manager was a real prick and left me standing outside a locked front door on the street for way too long. The meds, OK I guess, prices about standard. Clones --thank you a-holes for selling me powdery mildew and screwing my entire garden. The way I see it you sold me junk, in effect stealing from me and you owe me the cost of my entire garden.

I will never visit Horizon again!

Get your sh!t together and keep the prick away from customers! Seeds, and strong mothers from seeds are the way to go.

Just recently visited here and I was very dissapointed. They did have some decent bud, but all of it was high priced. I bought some afghany that was a lil bit cheaper that I thought smelled good, and when I got it, it did not look like the same bud. Not trimmed well at all, very skimpy, almost no good nugs.

The staff was friendly, but I usually pick up better bud from my local dealers for a third of the price
I payed! They did have a nice selection of edibles including sodas and hot sauce which you dont see everywhere, and they had a lot of nice clones, but I definitly will not be returning to this club. EVER

I wanted to try this club for the first time today christmas eve and picked up the blue ribbon it was the best lookin stuff they carried. Staff was very lay back and personable and I was comfortable with the feel of the whole place.I would come back again .

I think the people who have provided such poor ratings either are doing it for some self-serving reason (like they own another local dispensary), or they must have caught someone on a bad day. Because I have been to this place many, many times and have nothing but praises to offer. They are knowledgeable and helpful, and are not at all rude like some others have described.

The place is clean, comfortable, and is run like a medical dispensary should be--not like some back alley drug dealer's house. They have a constantly changing selection, it's a safe clean environment, and theprices are fair--- which is all I care about anyways.

Non Profit ? Then why are there prices outrageous? California is flooded with great herb right now and these guys are charging over 300 an oz for primo. Ridiculous! The staff is rude, the girl was sweet but not knowledgeable. I left there shaking my head and went to my local dealer paid half for better stuff. I thought the Idea of these dispensaries is compassionate care? Not be rude and take all your money care. Horrible overall experience not recomended and not going back.

This is quite possibly the WORST place I have been to. The staff was very rude. Asking simple questions about military discounts seemed to get the guy all in a stir. He said that they only give them on Saturday. I said ok then I'll come back tomorrow. His reply was get out of here then, just leave. It's people like you looking for a deal that we don't want around here. WTF ever. I have money to spend but just like everyone else if I can get a better price tomorrow then I'll wait. Not only was he talking shit to me, but to other customers as they walked out of the facility. Needless to say I will NOT be returning. Nothing but greedy asshole working in this place.

First off, I would like to give a shot out to the club itself and it's staff on the excellent job they're doing. From the wide range of clones, medicine, location, and for the most part cleanliness.

I read some of the bad reviews and couldn't believe some of the bull**** that some of these haters were saying. For example, one guy states that "you can see right through the tint on the windows". SO WHAT!?! The only way you see through those tinted windows is if you're right up on the glass like a retard or something staring in the club just like any other tinted windows. By the way, in case you forgot, what they do is LEGAL!!! So who in the hell would they be trying to hide from? At least it's not in some dark, shady alley somewhere, making you feel like you're going to pay a visit to Tony Montana or something. I never felt like somebody was going to be waiting to rob me as soon as I left the store. Not to mention that they're located directly across the street from the courthouse that is filled with police protection at all times.

As for the clones, I just purchased some Chem Dog and some Blueberry, and they seem to be doing just fine as for the price. It's just the same as any other club in the Sacramento area. I will be coming back real soon....

For real, your NON-PROFIT ORG needs to stop trying to get over on consumers. There are too many clubs here in 916, and that's why I haven't been back in months. Stop being so scandalous in the prices you charge! I guess if you're that stupid or hard up, you'll pay a triple dub. Today was my first time visiting this dispensary, I recently got my cannabis card last month which I proud to say and I've been to 2 other dispensaries in the area and neither one wasn't anything like Horizon. A triple combo of an Inviting atmosphere, Excellent customer service and a superior selection of cannabis and cannabis goodies has ended my quest in finding the right cannabis club for me to purchase my medicine from.

Patients beware! They have moldy medicine. The Maui wowie was overpriced; and they had a poor selection of clones, which are high priced. The pros are: It was clean, and it smells good inside. The cons are: They have moldy medicine (double check your meds for black or dark spots on leaves), 1/8ths are weighed short, and the budtender is clearly incompetent as far as products. They are also greedy as the products seem overpriced.

Patients beware. I got moldy medicine (check for black coloring before buying). The lady behind the counter is pretty, but truly ignorant as far as product knowledge. I will never go back to this place again. They have over priced clones and meds, just stay away until they can come back to earth. I want better medication. This place has everything and they accept credit cards! I tried their hash - very potent. Very high quality meds. Next I will have to try their edibles. I have tried several types of medicine from them and found it to be good. This is the only place I will go to in Sacramento besides 1 other.

I've been to several different dispenseries in Sacramento and Oakland and would choose Horizon over any of them. The staff is very nice and go out of their way tomake you feel welcome. My questions were answered with patience and knowledge. I have severe back and shoulder pain from past surgeries and the edibles help out with the pain considerably. Horizon and its staff will continue to get my business, highly recommended.

Probably my favorite place to purchase from. I would say the prices are to high but its the same everywhere else. i read some of these 1 star reviews and honestly think some of these people are lying or own competing dispensaries. The clones are great. Someone complained about "no name" strains? The more strains the better i say. i don't want to smoke the same thing all the time. Meds are good. when i am on a budget I can pretty much go in and buy whatever is the cheapest and it'll work great. The only problem I had is one time I bought an 1/8 of orange crush, it was very good but when i started getting to the end of it i found some seeds. Other than that experience i love this place. You don't feel like you are breaking the law.

Ya so I went to horizon non profit and wated some clones and noticed that they all had fugus knats on them. I tried to tell the fella at the counter about it and he called me a lier right to my face. He tells me in a rude and sturn manor (we dont have bugs here!) I said well if you would like to come over here i will be glad to point them out to you. The man says once again in a very rude voice those where just put in the tray there is no way they have bugs! A week before this encounter i purchased $150 dollars worth of clones took them home got about 5 to 6 days into my deal and had to rip them all out because of fungus knats.. not ever going back to this place again rude and bugs are not a good combo....

Outstanding personal patient service. Building is clean with easy to see display case and easy to read sign with product items and prices. Clones are well established and healthy by professionals growers. After buying several clones and a 1/8 of purple, I was given a nice pre-rolled dubbie as a gift!

They took care of this Viet Nam War era Veteran (Reg Army 1972-1975). Thank you, will return soon.

This club use to be good when they had that pineapple express back last year in the fall and winter. But for some reason they have been going downhill and that is why I stopped going there. I would like to mention that they still have the best clones in town without a doubt, but medicine wise they either need to lower their prices or get better stuff like they use to have.

Good morning!

I have frequented Horizon on multiple occasions, and must say that I am impressed with and appreciate their service.

First of all, when you go in, you feel like you are in a comfortable and professional environment rather than a run-down shop filled with thugs and people that have no idea or knowledge of medicine, much less care for people like us in need.

The Selection is excellent. The first time that I was there, they gave me free medicine just for trying their dispensary, and have done so for all of my friends that I have sent .... A++ for service.

Buds were great .. With wide selection there is no doubt that you will get the exact medicine that you need .. I found the staff to be knowledgeable and helpful, rather than many dispensaries that I have gone to where the employees rush and intimidate you, and you feel more like a prisoner than a customer or patient. I am not sure if you guys have experienced this, but it is not a good feeling.

They also have a great selection of edibles, topicals, and such that have been nice and potent (those that I have tried). Also, surprisingly, they have some great clones. This may be the only shop in SAC that has them, and even if others do, they will not beat the quality of these clones.

Overall my experience has been great with Horizon. You guys have my business! Shops like this are what will help legalize our medicine, and flush out the "thug like and trafficing" reputation of many other dispensaries. Horizon, thank you for your help!

I can't recommend this place enough! If you're new to canni clubs, or a veteran (literally OR figuratively), this place is definitely for you. Friendly staff? Check. All of the volunteer staff are knowledgeable, nice, and extremely polite. Other places I've gone to have had fewer strains, of both indi's and sati's, and the strains they do have are more expensive: Horizon is non profit, has a wonderful community that donates top quality bud (hydro, natural, and once I even got a strain of unnamed bud... they've probably named it by now haha but still...)

So, in summary, Horizon is a great place to go to with a hassle-free staff, quality and in my opinion, generously priced good, and lastly, and most importantly, when you're browsing their wide selection, even in just the usual day-to-day grind, after just one trip, you feel like you got friends over there, regardless of how much you stop in or buy.

When first pulling up to horizon non-profit, I could instantly see through the poorly placed black tint. Made me worry bout the security they have, but even after that, clones were overpriced and they didnt not even have mainstream marijuana strains. If i wanna go smoke some lavender, Ill go roll up a blunt of some lavender shampoo, because that looked way better than what was growing under the light.

Also for all employers, do not hire somebody that cannot even process the words coming out of my mouth, due to extreme baked-ness.. talk about being under the influence at a job. Well now it was time for the meds...... do not buy the maui.... the maui taste and smokes like if 1,000 hawaiians took a huge dump and put it into a quarter jar. Even if i paid 65 for a quarter. i would rather pay 50 bucks for an O' of mexico(bammer, bunk, brown, dirt weed) than waste 15 extra for what i thought was gonna be guaranteed medical marijuana quality and taste.

I have been to about 10 clubs in the Sacramento area, and I went there on Sat and visited 4 clubs. The first three didn’t look great from the outside but had a great selection and good people all very polite. I told myself don’t go crazy and wait for the club with the best reviews…When I arrived at Horizion I was expecting great things, I mean look at these reviews…Ha don’t be fooled.

When I pulled up I realized their black window cover blocked nothing I could see the whole operation. So I walk in anyways hoping 4 the best, and still the guy at the desk was so HIGH he couldn’t even function….His boss had to come do all his work for him, I get passed that and go to the counter. All the top tier medicine were tons of thingsI have never heard of and all dry. Didn’t like the look of many of the bud quality wise.

Oh, don’t think im letting it go that the girl behind the counter couldn’t have been there for anything other than business. C’mon she could barely speak English and knew nothing about medicine. I still had to try so there could be nothing that I didn’t try to at least be fair to this club….I got Maui Wowie hmmm well that what they told me, it wasn't good at all.

See, that's the thing. Someone writes a bad review and an employee of the place writes a glowing review as a retort!

Horizon does not have a wide selection of edibles! (unless 4 items is wide" And they try to sell their hash chocolates with promises of "Hey, only do half! Because I knew this guy that ate the whole thing and...".

Sorry I ate the whole thing and only had minor pain relief. These guys will say and do anything to cover up their obvious disdain for thier client base. They overpriced so as to play the "Vet Discount", and they offer dried up crap w/abusive and or/condesending service.

If you like having large guys lurking over you while you decide...this is your place. Oh, and if you give a bad review (on here using your real name) they will retaliate. They are not to be trusted!

After reading a number of reviews, I tried Horizon. I was so happy to arrive at a safe, clean place in a business area. The staff is very freindly and helpful and the place was bright and simple. I have no fear of going there alone, parking my car and feeling completely safe. There was also a variety of items, including tincture and a few edibles. I was very happy with my experience and will be going back!

When it comes to these guys you'd do best to not use your real name when reviewing their place. Unless you give a glowing review, that is. I learnt that truth the hard way. A nice hard slap on my back (I'm 52 w/severe degenerative disk disease in my neck and back, BTW) while another dispensary worker looked on and smiled tells the tale!

Yep, they saw my review! (the hidden snide remarks were a clue too) I sure hope they see this one.

For I'm a very nice, albiet slightly hyperactive, truthful old man. And I don't appreciated being smacked around for telling my truth. And, gee, I gave ya 3 stars! I gave you my business too. At least $160+ a week. No more!

Even your 20% discount doesn't make up for your dried up product. Nor will I ever pay to be physically abused. The guy that hit is lucky that I was in a good and slow mood. I was thinking of trying him on again, but...nah, you ain't worth it. 'The MMJ community doesn't need thugs and/or abusive people running medicine. And I'm gonna spread the news far and wide, kids!

This was one of the first co-ops I went to when I got carded up, I like the place, they give a discount to vets, just make sure you make them aware your a vet and ask. People, these club reviews are here for us, the consumers, I tried most of the strains Horizon had, when I saw they didn't have anything new, I went and tried a different co-op.

I'll agree with the other guy that these guys care about vets. They give a very nice discount. I've been going there for a few months and never had a prob. They usually have a great selection. But recently their product has been dried up.

Two weeks ago I thought it was a fluke that I got a 1/4 of dried up and impotent White Widow (something that should be pretty good).

Then, last week, I get dried up Lavender and Blackberry Kush. Oh, and they sold my some dried up and dead Madagascar (which should be sticky). I almost forgot.

Something is wrong at Horizon. Seriously. The prob I have is that they sell their product in sealed plastic jars.
Which is good, if the stuff is fresh. But it makes it impractical to check for freshness. And they are selling sub-prime stuff.

I'm a little new to the area here but I'm very fimiliar with SF and Oakland clubs. Horizon is very bright and open, major plus to those of us that don't like being in a dark alley. The guys were real friendly and I like the fact that they are doing classes and events. Good job guys!

Every time I go to this club I'm more impressed. Their selection just can't be touched around here. Today I picked up some Pineapple Express that just rocks!

I stopped by for the first time recently and I was impressed. They had good quality meds, very friendly service, and typical Sacto prices. But what makes them stand out above the rest is there professionalism. It felt more like a top quality S.F. co-op inside. I woulda liked to of seen more top tier but I got some good Blue Dream so no complaints. I'll be back. :-) Peace.

Great service! I have been to several clubs in the past year and by far this is the cleanest club I have been to. Very helpful and great selection of herbs and keif. This is one of the few clubs I will be back to.

I used to live closer to the bay in the 707. I've been to all the clubs in Sac that I could readily find, and this is the best, and these guys deserve it. Hella nice, know their stuff, down to earth just chilling. All their medicine comes in containers instead of the rest of the ghetto clubs in the bay using baggies. If you pay 55 for an eighth, you should get a container, and maybe something extra. All in all, only Sac club that compares to a high end dispensary.

This place is awesome. It's clean, and you feel very safe and welcomed. Finally a co-op that doesn't make you feel like your walking into a drug den. Good job on doing things the right way.

They had a decent selection, but the quality of the buds were lacking for the price. Their high end selection is the same as other club's mid grade, only priced $5-10 more.

Excellent, the best I've seen in Sac so far. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I'd say to try the Super Silver Haze or the Big Al. Purple Nepal for indica. Green Ribbon and Majik for a nice mix.

Very good prices, friendly staff, not ghetto for a change, and they have a good selection of edibles, and other alternatives to smoke. Closest thing to a high quality Oakland/Santa Cruz caliber dispensary I've been to in Sac. Recommend this club hands down.

Hands down the best club in Sacramento area I've been to them all I suggest if choosing this one if you're going to a different club stop by this one at least once check it out you won't regret it. Best prices best selections. Best club nice area to wait in if you're bringing someone.

These guys are right on. Everyone is really nice. The place is comfortable, welcoming, clean. They are brand new and definitely trying to make it nice and user-friendly. Lot's to choose from, lot's of price options. I'm going back.

Finally! All new and inclusive collective in Sacramento! Clean and comfortable dispensary with ultra nice staff. Great selection of medicine the buds are tasty and the edibles are fresh! Recommend only eating half, a little potent fellas!!! That is better than being weak. Good prices, big selection, I look forward to returning.
